WORK TO BE DONE

The work so far done has resulted in an assembly of approximately 20 minutes of the film - the script currently runs at 112 pages, so 75 or 80% of the film still remians to be shot.

However, the material shot so far was achieved relatively quickly, over a 4-5 day schedule. This determined many things that have since streamlined the production plan.

Rehearsing with Dominique Monot in Filmbase, Dublin, June 2010

The remaining bulk of the story can be shot over a 2 week period in studios in Dublin. The remaining scenes are particularly suited to abstract, stylized interiors similar to the hotel room scenes already shot. I would also like to complete the film with the same level of crew that I have been working with so far - 2 or 3 technical assistants and collaborators.

The film will, however, involve a longer period of post-production - a few months, as much of the sense of continuity between such disparate settings will lie in the sound design and soundtrack. Most of the soundtrack has already been recorded with 'European Sensoria Band', accompanied by Gavin Duffy, Junshi Murakami and myself.
